First 5 lessons of the GCSE Spanish course- AQA but also suitable for other exam boards. I have edited and improved these in response to the new GCSE course (2026). Activities all include challenge activities and support boxes, and are designed so that all learners can access the tasks and be stretched. Vocabulary grids for these 5 lessons are included and can be printed as an aid for students to refer back to. NB the final grid is not covered in these lessons but provides a guide for lessons moving on from these ones- onto family member revision and beginning to describe family relationships.
I have put a great deal of time into making this as engaging as possible and as easy to use for teachers as possible- all answers are provided and appear in turn, the slides are completely editable, and any sheets are already prepared on printable slides which don’t appear in slideshow mode. The lessons cover all skills. However, if there is something I have missed- a typo, or a mis-animation, please do let me know so I can fix it!
If you do find these lessons useful, please do consider leaving a review. Thanks :)

Questions:
Q: Which specification is this for? It is designed with the new AQA spec. in mind but may be similar for other exam boards. While based on content from the AQA OUP textbook, the order is often not the same and grammar points may differ. If unsure, please check the medium-term plan posted on my Facebook group ‘Mrs. Costa’s resources - Spanish (new) GCSE & more’.
Q: Where are the listening files? There are no listening files included- there are 2 listening tasks from the textbook but for this only page numbers are given to ensure copyright is not breached. Other listening tasks are for the teacher to read aloud.
Q: Help the formatting has gone funny! Ensure your slide size is ‘Standard 4:3’ - via page setup - before pasting into Google slides.

ALL other tasks are completely original, made by me.
