A little starter I made for my group to remind them how to read equations. There is a little reminded about what I mean by the "story" of the equation then a big scary looking equation, the students then have to write its story.

Students have to find the size of every angle on the sheet; they get a point for each one they find; but loose a point everytime they use a protractor ; setting up a nice competition and forcing them to use angle facts they have learnt.

KS3 / GCSE statistics. A lesson i did introducing box and whisker plots jumping on the avengers band wagon. Pupils shuffle avenger cards and create a tem of 11 heroes and draw a box plot of thier power and cunning, comparing the two and comparing with a friend to see who has the best team. Pupils then add soldiers and super heroes to the team to see affects on thier plots. Along with the cards i have larder A4 cards for the start of the lesson when i get 7 kids up to go through th efirst two box plots on the powerpoint.

A sheet I made to keep track of pupils progress with IEP and IBP targets. The idea is that if every child in the eschool is entered with thier targets, then each teacher can use the filters to select thier pupils and create a sheet thats specific to them. Wanted to try to keep it to one page so the targets have been coded. I've found it really useful and keep a my sheet in my desk draw and feel it&'s help me focus more on the students targets when planning lessons.\n\nHope you find it useful

Starter has some multiplication and division practice as well as a fractions of amount questions. Main is equivalent fractions and extention. Pupils have to try to find equivalent fractions for two fractions which will have common denominators. to lead in
