Visually appealing worksheets/place mats for GCSE Biology students on the structure of the kidney and its function. Perfect for use when teaching the topic and also for revision purposes. The worksheets could even be used as a progress test on these topic areas. The worksheets should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and pupils will be able to work independently through the activities.
There is a differentiated kidney structure and function worksheet for students who may benefit from extra support.
There is also an answer sheet for the teacher, which is great for non-specialists teaching Biology in schools.
As a suggestion the place mat could be laminated and pupils could complete the activities with OHP pens. The laminated sheets could then be cleaned for future use with other pupils.
