It covers multiplication both as repeated addition and as describing an array and has a ‘first look’ at the 2, 5 and 10x tables. Stop it! comprises a practical, ready- made supply of punctuation exercises and covers use of full stops, capital letters, apostrophes, speech marks etc. Stop it, Editor! covers similar areas to Stop it! but in a more editorial style. Each of the three books contains stories to improve sequencing and text comprehension. Book 1 has three-part texts to put in order, Book 2 four-part and Book 3 five-part texts. Each story has two versions: one with simpler text and more limited vocabulary, which is useful for less-confident readers. Suitable for KS1 plus older pupils with less-developed literacy skills. Previously available through Easylearn. Practical note: the easier version of each story has a top right-hand corner picture which includes a cat, the harder one features a dog. Stories are interchangeable and an easier and a harder version can be used at the same time within a group of children.
