I have been a primary school teacher for 14 years both in the UK and internationally. I am taking a break from education, so I thought it was about time to put some of the resources I have created to good use (again). I have an abundance of resources so keep a look out as I will be adding them gradually. Thanks for checking out my shop!

Parts of Speech wordsearches PPT

This resource contains 5 slides with wordsearches based on different parts of speech (prepositions of place, common nouns, action verbs and adjectives. The aim is for the students to find the words based on the picture/animation. This resource can be used as a recap, time filler or can be used in combination with the ‘What is Missing?’ resource available in my shop. This can be used with KS1 and 2, and also would be great for ESL students. Enjoy!

Ancient Greece ELA/Literacy pack

This is a pack I made for a split grade 3/4 class. It is made up of different literacy activities for them to complete based on an Ancient Greece topic. The additional reading was done via Kids A-Z although other versions can easily be used in place. The activities require the children to read and research themes such as pottery and the Olympics, but there is also grammar, poetry and art included. I have included a page for teachers with all of the video links and instructions for the week.

Senses interactive lesson and resources for year Grade 1/2

I am including a lesson plan and resources to accompany it, in this bundle. I recently did this lesson with a 1st Grade class (predominantly ESL) but it would work for Reception/Year 1 or 2. The non English or less able children had to draw in their answers and those who could, had to add labels. There is an evaluation for the more able children and a conclusion for the LA in order to teacher asses whether they have met their objectives. Easy to use, easy to adapt - I hope you find it helpful!

Estimating with capacity

A simple sheet I used in Kindergarten (ESL children) where they had to estimate which container would have the biggest/smallest capacity, then measure by counting cups of water to fill each container. A fun activity to reinforce capacity.

Problem solving pictures

A simple resource I created for ESL children. Children need to cut and paste the solution to the problem. All in picture format. Children can then talk through the pictures. I made this because all examples I found were in written format and beyond the level of my children.
