This resource contains revision mats for the required practicals in the Chemistry section of the new AQA Science Trilogy paper 1. Answers are now included.
This can also be used as home learning for students if they are requested to isolate for two weeks.
Practicals Include:
Making Salts
Electrolysis
Temperature Change
They contain questions about methodology, scientific enquiry and analysis of results. These can be given after teaching the required practical, homework or at the end of year 11 for revision before their exams.
My current year 11s have found these particularly useful to go through in revision lessons and have taken extra home to use as revision tools.
Please rate this resource and follow me for further resources to come. Let me know of any changes you think I could make to improve this resource.

These student friendly handbooks are for the NEW AQA (9-1) Chemistry GCSE . These follow a similar layout and pattern I have used for the free revision and paid revision mats from my shop.
Samples of these booklets can be found using the following link:
https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/sample-new-aqa-science-required-practical-handbook-9-1-11945258
These include a how to guide for each practical, practical information and questions regarding the methods and techniques used in each practical. There is also graph paper included in this booklet. References for the ‘working scientifically’, ‘mathematical skills’ and ‘apparatus and techniques’ requirements for each practical.
Paper 1 booklet:
Making Salts
Neutralisation (Chemistry
Electrolysis
Temperature Change
Paper 2 booklet:
Rates of Reaction
Chromatography
Identifying Ions (Chemistry)
Water Purification
I have not included exam questions for copyright reasons, so exam questions would make this booklet even better (use exampro for this).
I have also created a bundle that contains all the required practicals for each subject and can be found using the link below.

This resource follows a very similar format to our normal GCSE Science worksheets but it is focus on helping students understand specific science vocabulary that they will be faced with during their exams.
The worksheets include information and practice for the following:
Accuracy / Precision
Calibration
Data
Measurement Errors
Anomalies / Outliers
Random and Systematic Errors
Fair Tests - Including Variables
Generating Hypotheses and Predictions
Intervals
Ranges and Means
Repeatability and Reproducibility
Resolution
Uncertainty
Hope your students can gain practice on this as most students struggle to gain marks when faced with questions with the above content. All worksheets come with answers.
If you find these resources useful, please leave a review to help others know your opinion before purchasing this resource.

This resource is used to help students understand the keywords used for investigations in science. This resource will help students understand how key questions will be asked and used to help them understand what questions are asking them.
Examples of each would be good with this task and give students the opportunity to discuss what they think each word means.
