This PDF is designed to provide students, teachers, parents and other stakeholders with an overview of what Careers Collective calls the 7 Stages of Career Development. It can be used to prompt a discussion, support preparations for a careers interview or careers education lessons, or help parents to engage with your career development programme.
This future-focused, skills-based programme has been designed by teachers specifically for delivery to students with additional learning needs in specialist or mainstream settings, or for younger students, in Years 6, 7 and 8 in mainstream settings.
Learning activities are anchored by learning objectives, support the achievement of Gatsby Benchmarks 1 and 2, and link to the Skills Builder Essential Skills.
The content can be delivered by teaching, support and careers staff as part of your school’s careers, tutorial or assembly programme.
