Essay plan:
Explain why the Treaty of Versailles was so unpopular with the German people. (12)
History GCSE
This essay plan contains information required in each paragraph to successfully answer the question. Students can then elaborate on the points and write out their own answer to practice!
From someone who gained a grade 9, my top tip would be to make essay plans and practice writing essays under timed conditions on a regular basis.

MACBETH: THEMES
This source contains a list of themes in Macbeth, some of these themes have come up in the Edexcel English literature papers, whilst the rest of the themes are yet to come up.
My advice as someone who got a 9 for English Literature is to look at all of these themes and plan out an answer for each of them. Make sure to have a wide range of quotes which you can link.
Take a look at some of my other MACBETH resources to help you!
Good luck!

MACBETH as the tragic hero
This source provides reasoning as to why Macbeth is the tragic hero, highlighting the key features of a tragic hero and even providing a short description into Macbeth’s vaulting ambition as his fatal flaw.
This revision resource can be useful to gain a further understanding of Macbeth as our tragic hero and is helpful when writing about Macbeth’s character or the theme of ambition.
