Includes game board and quiz cards through a canva link so that it can be edited or used as is. Has some challenging questions about beliefs and practices for both Sunni and Shi’a Islam for year 11’s to practice retrieving and articulating their knowledge.
A full GCSE AQA lesson about the 7 sacraments of Christianity. It includes different denominational attitudes towards the sacraments. Contains a start/retrieval task, a cut and sort activity, a key vocab sheet, and a quick quiz with answers.
A set of 3 revision clocks covering Muslim beliefs and practices. Each section of the clock relies on the students knowledge and so will be a useful diagnostic tool for students to identify the gaps in their retrieval. Can be used with the AQA approved textbook for self assessment and improvement to bridge knowledge gaps once students have completed as much as possible from memory.
A complete AQA GCSE RS lesson for Theme E that introduces the reasons for crime and connects them to Christian and Muslim beliefs and teachings about intention. It explores the intention behind crimes such as theft, hate crime, criminal damage and links them to religious teachings about committing crimes for good or bad intentions, giving examples from the story of St Paul and A Hadith from Prophet Muhammad. Includes a roll and re-tell retrieval task, an information sheet, worksheet and two practice exam questions with model answers.
A complete lesson for revision at the end of teaching Theme D Peace and Conflict in the AQA GCSE RS specification. Includes a retrieval quiz, a taboo style key word game, a revision clock, practice questions for the whole theme and peer assessment that includes a template sheet for students to give effective peer feedback. I’m offering this for free as I’ve used two resources that were given away for free by other people (taboo and revision clock).

KS3 RE Creation stories homework tasks all in one place. 6 weeks of homework tasks to be used alongside the creation stories lessons. Can be printed out for those students who prefer to access home learning from a paper based resource. Can also be used via Microsoft Teams/Google Classroom or any other virtual learning platform (is currently editable but may need formatting for your school’s VLE)
Display Posters containing all of the recommended key vocabulary required for AQA’s Islam: Beliefs and Practices specification. Includes short explanations for some more difficult concepts and pictorial support on each one to help embed knowledge. I created this as part of my action research into key vocab retention and use following 2023’s exam board feedback.
