This lesson pack includes the maps and resources to complete a lesson on the climates of North America. In the lesson we look at the different climate types of the world: Tropical Climate Subtropical Climate Continental Climate Polar Climate Mild Climate Highland Climate Pupils start by looking at the climate of the region and then using maps to look and observe the average temperatures of regions of North America in January and July. They then move on to describing the climate and temperature of a specific region, state or city in North America using Koppen Tables

This is the washing machine game - pupils make washing machine using a paper net. They have to work in teams to design, produce and sell their washing machines. The aim is to make the most profit. Pupils start with 15 counters, purchase equipment and sell washing machines for counters. This game wasn’t designed by me but I have adapted and put together the powerpoint using AI technology to talk you through playing this game successfully. An excellent end of term activity. Endless fun can take one hour, two hours even all day. Included: Detailed powerpoint and instructions Washing Machine Net (included on last slide of powerpoint) My children played this all day!

This is an enterprise game designed for the end of term. During the game children (elves) work as teams to make presents out of cube nets. They then need to decorate them and sell them for profit. Each team starts with 15 counters and has to purchase items to help them make the presents. As the game goes on they increase their production line sizes and increase the quality of the product.
