In your desperate attempt to escape the pack of ravenous dogs, you find yourself in a deep ravine. The rock face on both sides is almost vertical and you are far too tired, anyway, to even contemplate climbing your way out. To get as far away from the dogs as possible, you decide to go forwards – walking through the shallow water because you believe that it will help to disguise your scent should those animals return to hunt you down.
This maths adventure comes in four parts. It could be completed over several lessons or given as homework over several weeks.
The idea is that the children have to solve a maths problem before the teacher will progress to the next slide. This could be completed over several lessons.
It was created using PowerPoint 2013.

Make learning your times tables a bit more fun with Ultimate Times Tables Bingo.
-Includes 32 unique bingo cards - in black and white AND colour.
-Has the answers to tables up to 12 x 12.
-Each number (product) also shows the number of ways that it can be made with a smaller number next to it in brackets. This could be used to support work on probability.
-Children can choose their own number not already on their bingo card. The best option would be to choose either 12 or 24 (which ever of the two is not already on it) because both of these numbers have six ways of making them.
-These bingo cards are fair since every card has exactly the same chance of winning - until they choose their own number. This is because there are exactly 25 different ways of making the 11 numbers already on each bingo card. If they choose either 12 or 24 as their last number, there will be 31 ways altogether.
-Also includes 1 - 12 cards. Cut these out and use these to choose the times tables. Make sure that you replace the cards between choosing the first and second numbers or print two sets. This could easily be used in small groups in the classroom with minimal photocopying.
INCLUDES FREE BLANK CROSSWORD CREATOR. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO PLAN AND PRODUCE CROSSWORD ON ANY CHOSEN THEME. THIS CAN BE USEFUL FOR LEARNING SPELLINGS OR GENERAL REVISION.
