This is four different whole class activities practicing times tables.
There are four versions of the same game, with increasing difficulty:
- easy multiplication, up to 7 x 7.
- slightly harder multiplication, up to 8 x 8 or 9 x 7.
- all multiplication up to 9 x 9, with few easy questions
- all multiplication up to 12 x 12.

Two pages of simplification, beginning easy (finding fractions equivalent to 1/2) and building up to more difficult questions (simplify 14/49).
The aim is to highlight the similarity between finding equivalent fractions and simplifying, so pupils will recognise that they are really the same thing.

There's been a robbery! Can you help Inspector Vector solve the crime by collecting clues? This is a fun activity for groups that includes:
- adding and subtracting 2D and 3D vectors
- finding the magnitude of 2D and 3D vectors
- adding and subtracting vectors like a and b
- some practice with surds for magnitude of vectors
- visualizing vectors in 3D
- using some logic to solve the crime

The first leads pupils to an equation like x + 5
The second leads pupils to an equation like 2(x+5)
The third is more complicated and involves x on both sides of the equation
