Music and Art- Tomoko Kawao

(0)
Whole unit of planning for Tomoko Kawao, looking at the art of Shodo, Japanese caligraphy, looking at linked artists, Georgia O’Keefe and Kandinsky and posing the question, Can music be seen? Children will be looking at how one can see music as a visual art by creating paired final pieces combining musical instruments with animals to form a hybrid. Lots of fun. This is a PPT presentation which can be modified. It is half a term . It comes with all of the printing sheets on the same PPT. Aimed at Year 2 plus.

This is the PowerPoint version of my popular poem written in 2012 and based on a true event. It is also available to buy on Amazon as an e-book and paperback. Please use with caution. Sense of humour needed. This is actually also the topic of a forum discussion here on TES. It is intended for children aged 5+ and can be used as a stimulus for a literacy poetry lesson or simply as entertainment. This poem has gone global and has been enjoyed by different people across the world. Enjoy Emma Briody Reviews: Michael KramerBy Michael Kramer1 year ago I can tell you this exact scenario happened to me. However, the fart did not last for a long time. It was clearly audible and I became a laughing stock for the rest of the year. JuneBy June2 years ago My 5 year old daughter loved this and has taken a copy into school. Just hope her teacher has a sense of humor! Jennifer DragonettiBy Jennifer Dragonetti, Pleasant Valley, NY5 years ago This poem is great!!! I’m going to show this to my son who’s in 3rd grade and having some issues with liking his teacher. I’m hoping this might warm him up and open his eyes to the fact that, as you said, teachers are human!! Thanks!! NalediBy Naledi3 years ago Wow, I love this poem. It is so funny. I even used it for an assembly. I will never forget this poem. Source:

This is the WMV version of the PowerPoint of the same title and content. It is designed to be an alternative to scrolling through a PPT file, however it does not have the editing option that a PPT offers. It is also available to buy on Amazon as an e-book and paperback.
