A-Z resources

Average Rating4.17
(based on 93 reviews)

Hi, I hope you find these resources useful I have been teaching in primary for over 20 years. These days I am a supply teacher and I run an 'information' site for teachers and parents. All my resources I have used in schools over my time teaching. My resources take inspiration from all the experiences and ideas I have had from working full time, supply work, and one-one tuition with children up to KS4. I thank all the colleagues who have input into my resources in one way or another.

I have been tutoring children to be able to answer 11+ type questions and have made these resources which I thought I'd share. Lots of puzzles and language activities. Verbal reasoning activities found in 11+ tests. Great for 5 minute fillers.

Title and examples of connectives for different categories- e.g. contrast, emphasis etc I have used this resource in a number of schools sometimes as an underground map sometimes as a city. I label the train lines/roads according to the types of connectives. Children love using it.

A collection of different planning documents I have used-from individual subjects to topics, single lessons to whole weeks. Often change my formats- to find one that works. Thought it be good to share so others can get ideas.

This is the 2014 curriculum. It has the topic and objectives for each area of the new maths curriculum for year 1. There is space for the week and date- so could be used as a long term/medium term planning document.\nHope it is of some use.

These grids allow you to write children's names or initials into the relevant column (emerging, secure, confident). Also gives a key for different colours depending on the time of year.\nIt also gives you the development matters statements.\nHope this is useful.
