These worksheets give children the space to count in twos, fives and tens. When counting in twos children have to help Millie find her way through a maze by only stepping on a stone that is a multiple of two. When counting in fives children have to help the pirates get to the treasure by filling in the missing numbers on their journey. Finally, when counting in tens children have to make an ice cream by stacking up the scoops of ice cream in order by counting in tens.

For this game cut each sheet to make the four cards. Give each child a card (make sure all the cards are handed out as it will not work otherwise). Choose a child to start who will look at the bottom half of their card and read it aloud (e.g. ‘who has £5’) all of the other children will then look at the top half of their card to see if they have the picture to show the coin or note of the amount that was asked (in this case a £5 note), the child who has this will say ‘I have £5’. This child will then read out the bottom half of their card. Children will continue to do this until they are back at the start.

This resource allows children to practice reading the time on the clock to the hour. A child at random will start by reading the bottom part of their card (e.g. who has… 7 o’clock?) then the rest of the children will look at the top section of their card to see if their clock shows 7 o’clock, the child who has this card will say ‘I have 7 o’clock’ then they will read the bottom section of their card. Children will continue to do this until they are back to the first child that started the game.
