These sets of sheets can be used for independent work in class, for supporting individual students, as morning work activities or as homework tasks. Depending on the needs of your class, they can easily be used in Years 1-6. This is a pack of E-safety activities, which can easily be used in KS1 and KS2. They can all be linked with Safer Internet Day. The activities cover the following areas: *E-safety board game, covering several online situations. This is a simple dice roll and counter moving game, which is straightforward for the children to follow. There are also editable versions of the game provided, in case you wish to adapt it in any way. *E-safety anagram and word search puzzle - this has two versions with differing levels of support and an answer sheet provided. *Activity for creating a set of E-safety class rules. The PowerPoint also has a set of sample rules, which can be used to support generation of ideas. *Designing a superhero to combat cyberbullying - the PowerPoint is supported with differentiated character template sheets. These activities are great for supporting E-safety learning, providing opportunities for independent work from Years 1 to 6. This could be carried out as a stand alone activity or as part of a wider book study topic. The Holiday family are searching for the perfect means of travel to their sunny vacation in India and 'High Flyers' tour rep, Miss Deplane, is just the person to help them out. She leads them on a whistle stop journey through time, meeting some great pioneers of flight along the way, in order to find the ideal travel option. With wax and feather wings, hot air balloons and experimental aeroplanes on the menu, the Holiday family are relieved by the more modern choice that is eventually offered to them. A class assembly for ages 7 and over, with an entertaining and informative angle on how flight has been adapted throughout history. This is a fun and educational story, which is enjoyable for children to read and perform, as well as being straightforward for teachers to organise and direct. Two/three fun and easy-to-do lessons for KS2 poetry work. These would also be ideal for use around National Poetry Day or World Poetry Day. The lessons are based on 'The Jumblies' nonsense poem, by Edward Lear. All lesson resources, differentiated activities, answers and planning are provided as part of the pack. Lesson 1: Reading the poem and identifying various key features. Then planning a diary of the Jumblies' adventure.
