In this lesson, students will work with the video/song ‘Jealous Guy’ by John Lennon. Instructions, materials, and links for the lesson are included in the slides!
I think it was great to show young learners such a legendary artist like John Lennon since many of my students did not know much about him.
If you wish to have the editable version, send me a message!
Some weeks ago, I thought about using ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle in my classes, but since I couldn’t find a nice version to print out, I decided to edit this one, showing bigger letters in a ‘Big Book’ style.
In contrast to the original book version, I included one fruit per page so that the phrases are more easily-read.
This adapted book is designed in such a way that when you print it out horizontally, the pages that require two pages will be standing next to one another.
I printed it out in A3 size and had it laminated so as to make it more durable and easier to flip through (It was useful to work with predictions).
I hope you find it useful as well!

this file is editable! You can modify it as you see fit
The aim of this project is that students can be their favorite celebrity/sportsperson/movie character for a day! They have have to follow the instructions shown in the slides and film themselves as if they were their favorite people! The file includes an example and a format that students can follow.
My students were highly motivated and I was really impressed by some of their productions!
To help raise students’ awareness during Black Month, I am sharing an editable presentation on Myths and Facts on Racism. Through these slides, students will learn about 7 myths on racism and how to educate themselves and others.
I hope you can implement this presentation in your lessons!

Hi teachers! I’m sharing a PDF with a Teacher Planner that you can use with ANY group and re-use it in ANY year! It’s 23 pages long and you can either edit it digitally using a tablet (I personally use my iPad and GoodNotes) or you can also print it out.
I designed it in A4 size (29,7 x 21 cm) using the app Canva. While creating it, I took into account our needs as teachers.
In this planner, you’ll find the following sections and sub-sections:
About the teacher (picture frame, name, age, a teacher since…, and motto)
A year in a nutshell (course, number of students, book, list of months)
Monthly lesson plan (course, number of students, book, unit, activities, objectives and assessment)
Daily lesson plan (course, number of students, book, topic, warm up, lesson, follow up, materials)
Class attendance (list for up to 50 students)
Formal Assessment (grading for up to 50 students)
Informal Assessment (student, course, checklist and behavioral remarks, strengths, weaknesses and comments)
Printables (stickers and important dates templates)
I’d highly appreciate it if you could leave a review or sign up in the mailchimp link in my profile to receive free resources every Monday!
HAPPY TEACHING!
This is a presentation that I created for a writing workshop. It focuses on the basic organization of writing a description along with the steps involved in it. It is mainly aimed at students with an upper intermediate level of English.
I created a guide to work with the docufilm ‘The Social Dilemma’ which Netflix launched in September. It could be used as a whole unit since there are more than 30 pages of comprehension work! It includes pre, while and post viewing tasks. I also wrote a teacher’s key version that is included towards the end of the file.
These are the contents of the guide:
a) The Social Monster’s Origin (before watching). Pages 1-2
b) Silicon Valley Tech Geniuses (from beginning up to 10:38 m). Pages 3-8
c) The Business Model (from 10:40 up to 23:30 m). Pages 9-13
d) Social Media: tools or something else? (from 23:30 up to 44 m). Pages 14-17
e) New Level on Technology or Checkmate on Humanity? (from 44:00 up to 1:00:10 m). Pages 18-21
f) The Existential Threat (from 1:00:10 up to 1:22:49 m). Pages 22-27
g) Can we do better? - Follow up from the guide (from 1:22:50 m up to the end). Pages 28-32.
Hope you like it!
