I made a booklet to help the children plan a trip to the beach but it can be changed to fit other trips. The children need to collect data about things that the class could do on the trip and record it in a tally chart and block graph.
I use this short booklet and adapt it to different DT projects to guide the children with their planning and complete a short evaluation of their final piece.
There are 6 posters to display around the classroom with short rhymes to help the children remember how to spell common words for example because, what, when.
