There are two slides - the first is without detail , the second is fully completed. The second resource is a jigsaw grid focusing on the musical elements for this piece. There are three slides here; one empty, one completed and one without any text so it can be used for other revision purposes.

Percussion Starter - with audio clips

This is a four slide Powerpoint presentation which includes twenty-four audio clips of percussion instruments. Present the Powerpoint. Students can select a number between 1 - 24. Either select on your computer screen or this can be activated through an interactive board. Click on the number to hear the attached audio. Students are then asked to identify the audible clip. All audio clips are embedded within this Powerpoint. All answers on the final slide for your reference. I have used this as a starter with Key Stage 3 students to build aural recognition of percussion instruments. Enjoy!

Eduqas GCSE Music Quick Revision Tests : Set Works

(6)
Included here are four revision tests for Eduqas GCSE Music 9-1. Two for SYBG and two for EKN. NO answers included as it's all straightforward! Useful for revision, cover, starter.... I have made each question out of 24 - deliberately twice as many as would be in the actual examination. Each test refers to a section of notation and covers a range of devices and general musical theory. I have used these with year 11 and given each test twice - to focus revision. Hope you find it useful!

The scale of "a" melodic minor (ascending and descending) is constructed with clear referencing. All tones and semitones are shown. Full, clear piano keyboard included with notes highlighted as they are added to the scales. Speaker image included plays all shown scales for reference. This presentation is designed to support the understanding of all THREE minors and quick ways to reference them. Final slides have all scales for reference including info on each minor scale.
