French worksheet on free time verbs past/present/future

(0)
A French worksheet consisting of a grid which is partially filled with verbs in perfect/present/near future tenses. Pupils have to complete missing conjugations for je and on, in French and in English. Irregular forms are provided, with opportunity for pupils to follow patterns for regular verbs when completing the French.
French worksheet about healthy lifestyles
jac42jac42

French worksheet about healthy lifestyles

(1)
An easy French worksheet with several tasks about healthy lifestyle. Pupils have to match vocab, sort into healthy/unhealthy categories, show understanding of short texts, translate sentences and produce their own sentences based on the structures and vocab provided in the tasks. This sheet is provided as two pages of A4, but could be reduced to one side or easily adapted to allow pupils to write on.
German present tense verbs worksheet
jac42jac42

German present tense verbs worksheet

(0)
A worksheet with 20 German sentences, each showing only the infinitive of the verb needed. Common regular and irregular verbs are included (wohnen, spielen, gehen, haben, sein). Pupils write the correct spelling of the verbs to match the person/subject shown, and can also translate the sentences into English. A good homework idea, as Google Translate won't help that easily! This is meant for beginners, as each verb is used several times to aid reinforcement. Document has two copies, to fit on one page of A4. Answers provided on second page.
Foundation GCSE French role plays NEW SPEC
jac42jac42

Foundation GCSE French role plays NEW SPEC

(0)
A set of 9 Foundation role plays covering all GCSE themes. I’ve kept them very similar in structure to the sample assessment materials from all 3 major exam boards. Each role play has an unprepared element, a question to ask, an opinion and a past tense. I’ve made up teacher’s prompts as well. The 9 role plays fit on 2 sides of A4, so you could give your pupils the whole lot at once if you like. The teacher’s prompts follow on the last 2 pages and include reminders of the pupil’s role to save flicking between two sheets.
worksheet to practise German modal verbs
jac42jac42

worksheet to practise German modal verbs

(0)
A worksheet with a straightforward task to insert the given modal verb in the short simple sentences (present tense). The modal verb is given in the infinitive, so pupils must first conjugate it, then put it in the correct position in the sentence. They will also have to remember to send the other verb to the end and change it to its infinitive. They are asked to translate their sentences into English. There are 6 modal verbs in the present tense, plus future conditional of mögen, with 3 sentences to complete for each verb. Answers provided on page 2.
German worksheet: nominative/accusative/dative cases
jac42jac42

German worksheet: nominative/accusative/dative cases

(0)
A worksheet with two sets of sentences for pupils to practice using different cases. The first 10 sentences practice using accusative or dative after a preposition; the second set of 10 practice using accusative or dative after ‘in’ (to show movement or no movement). All 20 sentences test the use of nominative for the subject of the sentence and accusative for the direct object of the sentence. All sentences are in the present tense and refer to a variety of topics. Pupils have to complete the correct spelling for the articles the/a/my etc, and also translate the sentences into English. Answers are provided on the second page. This is a fairly challenging worksheet for those new to using the different cases, as there is a lot to think about; the gender of the nouns is not provided, so dictionaries may be needed if pupils are not familiar with all the vocab.

jac42jac42

French GCSE translation and role play practice worksheet

(0)
A long list (41!) of short sentences in English for pupils to translate into French. Equally you could switch the instructions and ask pupils to translate the other way. Sentences are mostly transactional speech, the kinds of phrases needed in a role play. Answers are provided but jumbled up - this could also be used as a reading matching task, or as speaking/listening pairwork.
Simple matching sheets with 2D shapes and pictures of marbles
jac42jac42

Simple matching sheets with 2D shapes and pictures of marbles

(0)
A cutting and sticking activity for pupils to practice matching pairs of 2D shapes or different sized sets of marbles. Each sheet has a set of six pictures to cut out, then pupils stick these pictures next to each corresponding picture above. You can easily adapt these sheets to make them harder by making the pictures more similar. Alternatively make them easier by removing one row or column of pictures. Simple uncluttered design makes these suitable for children with autism.
set of simple number lines tasks
jac42jac42

set of simple number lines tasks

(0)
A set of tasks suitable for pupils beginning to understand how a number line works. One task shows a 0-20 number line and has space to write a number sentence below (addition, but can be adapted for subtraction). This task is worth laminating and then can be used over and over with a whiteboard pen. The other two tasks require pupils to cut out boxes containing shapes, then stick them to the correct place on the number line (0-10). The easier version has arrows to help; the harder version has just a choice of empty boxes. These two sheets have two different questions on each sheet.

The sheet has six pictures for the number 2 and a further six for the number 3. It could be laminated and used with a whiteboard pen over and over. Simple uncluttered design makes this suitable for children with autism.
