A-Level Biology Exam Revision Strategy
A handout to help structure revision for the Biology A-Level. Designed primarily with student with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) in mind, but useful for everybody who wants some structure in their revision.
Biology is a particularly tricky subject to revise for, as the exams are very specific about what constitutes a correct answer – you may explain something perfectly well, but miss out on the marks for using the wrong keywords.
This handout is designed to get you used to what the questions are asking for, and pinpoint what keywords and specific points you will need to mention in your answer.
Differentiation and Integration identity cheat sheet
Just a small resource containing some calculus results that should be memorized for the exam. Some of the trig results missing are included in the formula booklets for most specifications, so be sure to check – this sheet doesn’t cover every assessable function!
Designed primarily for Edexcel A-Level Maths (2017)
A-Level Maths: Formulas to Memorise
One page (out of five) is available for preview.
A compiled list of A-Level maths formulas that need to be learned for the exams, broken up into topics for easy studying. Almost all of these formulas are not given in the exam formula booklet, but a few important ones that should be memorised are also included.
The following topics are covered: Algebra rules, Sequences and Series, Co-ordinate Geometry, Geometric Trigonometry, Trigonometric Identities, Differentiation, Integration, Mechanics and Statistics.
It is worth noting that the sheet doesn’t include things that should be understood instead of memorised, and so doesn’t include things like vectors, using calculus in mechanics, integration by substitution and so on.
