I am a trainee PGCE Secondary PE student and my completion date is Friday 28th June 2024. In addition to securing a BSc Physical Education and Sports Coaching and a HND, I also have 2 years’ experience of working as a Cover Supervisor. I have a genuine passion for inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential by encouraging them to be resilient in their learning and remind them it is okay to make mistakes. This was apparent in my previous role as a Cover Supervisor, I was timetabled my own PE classes and it enabled structure for pupils but also developed my ability to create engaging lesson plans and implement innovative teaching methods into their learning. It has resulted in positive outcomes for students, both academically and physically. I was responsible for organising fixtures for girls football and netball and leading on a range of extra-curricular classes.
