Look no further !! You can use this Dyslexia Friendly resource as part of a lesson, homework or stretch and challenge What will do I get: 2 Extracts from articles based on gangs in the 19th and 21st Century 5 targeted questions What will this comprehension do for your students? 1.As an English teacher I find that reading and answering comprehension questions are important because they help students understand what they have read. I wanted to create a non-fiction comprehension that not only could be used for a class discussion but also as individual answers. These questions I have created to go with the articles is to make students think about the main ideas and details, making sure they really get the point of the text. I have put the questions into the text at key areas so that it can be accessed by all levels of student. I have found that the questions will also help students to remember what they have read by getting them to focus on key parts and think about them more deeply. In addition, this practice builds their vocabulary and helps them learn how to explain our thoughts clearly. AVAILABLE AS PART OF A BUNDLE
