By rounding off, you could easily figure out that you would need to pay for your groceries. The concept of number bonds is very basic, an important foundation for understanding how numbers work. A whole thing is made up of parts. This poster is very helpful for students to visualize number bonds. Students see the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction. Photocopy the blank triangle template and ask your students to construct 4 to 6 triangles and show how to find the interior angles of a three-sided shape. You may use colored paper as an alternative. An example has been done for you. Cut them out and put them together as a triangular book. You may use this book as a production and once completed; as a display on your bulletin board.
