This lesson could also be used to support a practical investigation on electromagnets with the content on the properties of electromagnets and solenoids but does not include any protocols for the investigation. The lesson includes 3 learning outcomes, keywords, notes on the properties of electromagnets and solenoid with quick review questions and a set of relevant exam questions with mark scheme. There is also an extension task on planning an investigation into the strength of electromagnets in the style of the new 6 mark questions.
