A 12 paged, All about me, booklet to send home. This booklet is topic based so children can use the booklet throughout their time in your class. Send the booklet home with the children, before they start in your class, so they can complete it with their parents over the summer holidays. They are black and white, 1, to save on colour ink and 2, so children can colour in the little pictures. Once children return them they can be laminated so they can last through out the year. During transition to a new class children can become very anxious. Here is a selection of resources for the staff to introduce themselves to the children. There are 2, A4 introduction sheets and 2, 8 page booklets. I booklet is blank so you can select your own headers and 1 has the headers already inserted. I have also included pre filled in sheets and booklet to give you an idea of what it should look like.

6 paragraphs of phoneme spotters. Each page has a 4 or 5 line paragraph with a sound to search for. Differentiated for early readers. Each sentence is simple for some children to read and others to just have a go at reading or just look out for the focus sound, making it differentiated for early readers. Once the child finds the sound they can either highlight or circle it. Once finished they can count how many sounds they have found.
