PM Benchmark and Guided Reading Band Record
This is the tracker I use to keep a record of which levels my pupils are at. As I teach in Scotland, I have put links to the Curriculum for Excellence levels. There is also a record without this information included in the file.
Diamond 9 Template
Diamond 9 is a brilliant way to get your class to use their listening and talking skills. Pupils discuss 9 or more images and come to an agreement about the order of their importance. They arrange the images in order on the diamond template. This download is a blank Diamond 9 template plus templates for you to insert your chosen images. I have included 15 image boxes to add challenge for more able pupils.
Colour Group Labels
These labels fit perfectly on magazine files so that you can keep your groups organised. There are six different colours, labelled with Sassoon font.

Cause and Effects of Scurvy Worksheet
This worksheet supports teaching about the impact of scurvy on explorers and sailors. The top section is for pupils to show the foods that sailors ate to help prevent scurvy. The bottom section requires students to fill in the blanks of a passage about scurvy, using a word bank.
Word Book Vocabulary Pages

Behaviour Sheet
This is a handy behaviour record that breaks the school day into manageable chunks. Pupils, parents and teachers can easily spot any patterns that emerge. The circles can be coloured in, have smiley/sad faces drawn or even apply stickers to successful portions of the day. Set a realistic goal for pupils by choosing a number of circles to be filled in by the end of the week. It’s a very visual way to start a discussion about behaviour.
