3-digit x 1-digit Written Multiplication Worksheet
A worksheet that provides a variety of questions linked to being able to multiply a 3-digit number by a 1-digit number.
Included as part of the worksheet are 6 different questions that provide variation to check understanding through the use of different models, representations and question styles.
There is also an extension task that provides challenge with a further 4 questions.
Answers are also included for all questions.
This worksheet can easily be used as a worksheet when teaching the objective or used for recap/ revision or even to be sent home as homework.
Finding Fractions of Amounts Worksheets
Seven different worksheets that include questions on being able to find fractions of amounts. The worksheets are written to appeal to a range of abilities, including the use of the bar model, finding fractions of 2-digit, 3-digit and 4-digit numbers.
Most worksheets are also built to step up with children finding the unit fraction first before then finding the non-unit fraction except for the last two worksheets which are any fraction of an amount (3-digit and then 4-digit). Answers are also included for each worksheet.
8 Times Table Reasoning Activities
Activities that require children to use known facts to then be able to reason how to solve other calculations. Each page gives children a known fact and then calculations where the numbers have been manipulated and a box where they can explain how to use the known fact to find the answer.
Radius and Diameter Revision (Year 6)
A brief PowerPoint that can be used as part of a bigger revision session that focuses on the radius and diameter of circles. Included are some starter questions to focus on radius and diameter. This is then followed by practice questions and the example question from the 2017 reasoning paper where there was a radius and diameter question.
11 Times Table Mastery Check
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 11 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 11 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
