I created a surgery role-play area within my classroom and llinked it with literacy. The children can dress as a doctor or nurse and then "fix' the sentences. We have a big box with all of the 'sick' sentences in it and children pick one

I am using this to create playscripts but could be used for a number of things, including: highlighting adjectives, retelling the story etc.\n\nWorld Map - link to geography look at different climates and decide where the forest would grow, colour these areas.\n\nSmall pictures
