Simple plan template for children to plan a story before writing it.

Use creativity, can collage or draw a pattern. Challenge children to create a difficult pattern!

Bookmarks that children's individual goals can be typed onto, laminated and sent home. When children have achieved their target, they can move onto the next. All bookmarks have a picture of a real book on them.

1.) Linked to History and Art, draw the picture of The Academy. Think about detail and shading. 2.) Various pictures of services in brixton. 3.) Simple map of Brixton. Children can create shops and services (collages?) with a tab and stick them on to make a 3D street map. 4.) and 5.) Mindmap or sentence work on shops found in Brixton. Obviously, these can all be used as ideas for any place. I hope you find the resource useful, Please leave feedback and I’ll upload more work.

A table that children can use to fill in the title of a book and then any adjectives they can "steal" from that book.

I have an APP evidence book for writing, reading and numeracy with 5 benchmark children of different levels. This sheet goes in the front of the book to ensure relevant info is clear.

A checklist to ensure children have read with teacher (CT), Teaching assistant and any extra reading. Keep in front of reading folder.

1.) Simple advert scaffold to start children thinking about the features of a print advert and the layout. 2.) Notice to practise a talent for award ceremony, which ties into end of Media Magic Topic. 3.) An activity for children to design a new age phone (links to PP on Bell also in my resources). 4.) Simple sheet to design digital advert.

We looked at the physical and human features around Brixton Windmill and then in groups created 3D maps (as shown). Look brilliant and really help the children to position different features correctly.

Children given two different seeds to grow (after discussion) - think about how the bean/flower seeds will grow differently.

Simple format - words can be changed to suit whatever topic. Children write a definiteion of each term, in this case we did it for 'What is our school made from?'

Children walk around school and find 6 different types of light or can be done as homework. Draw or write. Include things like the small lights of computers for variation.

A bit of fun at the end of History topic homes - children can be as creative as they like designing a home of the future. For links with Literacy, can write a description of the house and label picture.

Two sheets for estimating, one for in class and one as homework. The class activity is meant for pairs and also includes peer assessment.
