A set of construction area cards for each season!
I have put mine onto keyrings and laminated as shown in the pictures and will put them into the construction area depending on the season.
The download is in a4 size per page but they can easily be reduced to a5 or increased to a3 dependent upon your classroom needs.
The cards contain different objects e.g. Santa’s sleigh, pumpkin, combine harvester, as well as objects linked to events e.g. a field of poppies for Remebrance/ a bee hive for World Bee Day.
They are matched in style to my other construction card resources in my TES shop.
These cards explain the primary and secondary colours as well as tints, tones and shades. They also show how to make all of the colours by mixing different paints together. I have made them specifically to tie in with the KS1 art curriculum. Perfect to laminate, hole punch the corner and attach to a key ring as a visual guide for the art table or creative area.
I will be hanging mine on the wall next to my bottles of red, blue, yellow, black and white paint.
A full set of all of the sounds taught in Year 1- we follow the Sounds Write programme so I have made these to fit in with that scheme however they can be adapted for any scheme/sound family etc.
Each card strip displays all of the sounds within a unit with a word in brackets to demonstrate use of the sound e.g. ay (hay), er (herb), igh (fight) etc.
Perfect for aiding children with their independence in being able to select which spelling they think they need for a particular sound.
The download includes both word document and pdf file.

A fabulous full set of Year 5 and Year 6 statutory word cards and alphabet display lettering in shades of green!
A great way to display the words in the classroom so that the children can become independent in finding out how to spell them. In my classroom I have grouped all the cards together beginning with the same letter and attached them together using a keyring. They are then hug on my english working wall below the corresponding alphabet letter circle for the children to access independently.
Numbers 1-10 maths circle featuring the number in words, as a numeral and represented pictorial in black dots.
Look great along the edge of a maths working wall for the children to refer to- particularly when correcting number formation.
The download includes a pdf and powerpoint document so they are fully editable if needed e.g. change of font.
A set of white wooden and foliage themed English lettering. Comes as a PDF so the font is exactly as shown and as a word document so the font can be edited.
A set of bunting with white wooden background spelling out ‘Maths’ with two additonal foliage bunting pieces.
Comes as a PDF so the font will be exactly as shown or as an editable version so the font can be changed to whatever you like.
A bundle of construction landmark cards, design sheets, labels and work in progress signs.
Bought separately, this set of items would cost £3.50 so as a bundle you save 50p!
An A-Z resource booklet to you however you wish with your children. I sent one of these home with any more able children to record any new or interesting vocabulary that they encountered within books they read at home.
Consists of a cover page and then a page for each letter of the alphabet for the children to record the new words and their meaning.
A full set of phonics cards strips showing each of the sounds taught across Year 2. We follow Sounds Write so these are in line with the way in which their programme.
Each strip shows all of the sounds taught in a particular unit along with a word in brackets to demonstrate the use of that spelling of the sound e.g. a (apron), ey (prey) a-e (mane) etc.
Perfect to aid children in their independence at selecting the correct spelling of a sound. I have put mine onto a keyring and put copies on each table for the children to refer to.
Comes as a pdf and word document in the download.
A set of 30 Vonhaus teacher toolkit labels for the 30 drawer organiser.
I’ve made them quite neutral in design but they look really lovely!
if you decide to laminate them you may want to reduce the size to around 80% then they will fit better
Also, if you choose to use the powerpoint editable version then you will need to download the font ‘countryside’.
A set of construction cards based on Winter/Christmas for your construction area. Features pictures of: Santa’s sleigh, ice rink, Santa’s workshop, igloo, Christmas Fair, snow globe, a stable, a gingerbread house, a Christmas tree and an ice castle.
Match the construction cards already available in my TES shop so these would be a fabulous additional set for the Winter season.
Available as both a PDF and an editable version.
Golden time chart starting at 30 minutes and working down to no golden time in 5 minute increments.
The idea is that the children each have one of these cards in their drawer/tray/folder with a photgraph of their face cut out. At the beginning of the week they put their face onto 30 mins. If they lose any golden time, they have to move their face on their chart.
Having individual charts rather than a whole class chart minimises humiliation for a child who has lost any golden time. I also keep a separate log of how many minutes children have lost in a notepad on my desk (in case any children don’t move their name correctly)
A resource I have used both in my maths area and creative area as an independent task to support the children’s understanding and recognition of numbers within 20.
The children have to write the number, draw the counters for the number onto the tens frame, stick some objects onto the sheet to represent the number e.g. stickers, sequins, buttons and then draw a picture to represent the number e.g. 5 flowers.
A selection of resource sheets used in my History coordinator file. Lots of people have asked for the templates.
The fonts I have used on the document are: ‘destain alternative’ and ‘DK Lemon Yellow Sun’ in case you wanted them to look exactly the same.
Downloadable as PDF and word document so font/titles etc can be changed accordingly.
Kindness notes that can be used in your class- either written by a member of staff who notices something lovely about a child or for children to send to one another.
Great as a PSHE activity or to use as part of Anti-Bullying week or World Kindness Day.
