This resource is made up of two sets of spinners: image only and vocabulary only. This enables different skills to be practised or for differentiation.
This pack provides a brief introduction to Monet in French. The resources are designed to support non-language specialists with audio in the PowerPoints and clear vocabulary. The worksheet, fact sheet and matching cards complement the information in the PowerPoints.
* The font used in the dyslexia-friendly PowerPoint is a free font called SF Cartoonist Hand and might be more better for some dyslexic students. If it is not already on your computer it can be downloaded from the internet. This is not the font that appears in the preview.
Pupils choose 8 petals to describe an important woman in their life, match them to the French, decorate them and glue them to the flower template. The centre says "My mum is" but also has options for step-mum, carer and a blank option. All vocabulary is provided in English and French, there is a vocabulary list and blank petals to add adjectives if needed.
These could be made into a lovely personalised card.
Nine worksheets on pets in French. Different levels to allow for differentiation.
*Note: The gap fill activities require the teacher to provide some dialogue. There are three levels of sheet so one activity can be completed in a mixed ability classroom.
This PowerPoint introduces nine habitats in French and gives examples of five animals living in each. It also comes with audio to support non-language specialists.
The habitats are: polar regions, rainforest, ocean, forest, desert, coast, city, pond and farm.

54 photo vocabulary cards labelled in French of nine habitats and five animals that live in each one. Pupils match the animals to the habitat. This can also be used as a source of discussion as some animals may be at home in more than one habitat.

These PowerPoints are a GREAT way to revise the preterite tense in Spanish and are jam-packed full of holiday vocabulary (100 slides in each). They are quite a fun way to end a class on a high or liven up a grammar point pupils often get bogged down with.
Includes FREE "magic words" mini PowerPoint!
Each PowerPoint can be used in a number of ways to practise reading, writing and speaking, making them superb value for money. They are also all fully editable so you can adapt them to the exact language your pupils need to revise.
- The preterite tense PowerPoints each have an English and a Spanish version.
- These are either in the first person singular (I) or plural (we) and there are combined PowerPoints containing both the "I" and "we" vocabulary to really make things exciting!
- To work the PowerPoints you press "s" in slideshow mode and the presentation will start rapidly flashing through all the slides. To stop, you press "s" again and so on. Please note, the faster the computer, the faster the slides will change.
- To practise reading, use a Spanish PowerPoint and pupils either read aloud or write down on a mini whiteboard whichever phrase it lands on in English.
- To practise writing, use an English PowerPoint and pupils write down whichever phrase it lands on in Spanish.
- To practise speaking, use either PowerPoint and pupils say the phrase aloud in Spanish (either reading directly or translating it into Spanish in their heads and then saying it aloud).
- With the "Magic words" PowerPoint pupils could try to write or say a sentence including the magic word the PowerPoint stops on.
The content is aimed at higher ability KS3 (lower secondary), GCSE/National 5 or basic revision for Higher students.

This resource comprises of a video (and identical audio if you’ve not got fast broadband) of a native French speaker talking about preparing for a job interview. The recording is 2:03 in length - the longest of the lovelanguage ekute videos - and is accompanied by a workbook and answer booklet.
The activities include three different types of gap fill, dictation, comprehension questions, true/false questions and translation as well as some extension activities. The resource aims to not just build confidence in listening but also practise dictionary skills, increase grammar awareness and work on translation.
