Finding all possibilities Crack the Code Year 3
A ppt used for a one off maths activity used with my year 3 class. Make a cardboard box, fill with goodies and attach a combination lock. At the end, ask the children to write the code they think it could be on a Post-It and invite children to try to unlock the code. If someone does, they can all have the goodies!

Dunkirk Guided Reading Activity Year 5/6
As my class is currently studying World War II I wanted to create a resource for guided reading that supported the current theme. The class struggle to find evidence and use direct quotes in their answers so this is one of the lesson objectives, hence a great deal of evidence hunting. I hope this resource is equally useful to others as I struggled to find anything ready-made about Dunkirk meeting both poetry and guided reading criteria.
