Year 8 Daily Routine Activities, Reflexive Verbs

(7)
A lesson that I have created for Year 8, levelled to level 3 and 4, to use reflexive verbs and daily routine activities, as well as revising times of the day to achieve a writing up to Level 4a, in the first and third person, with a sentence builder, writing support sheet, reading comprehension, peer dictation activity and speaking starters and plenaries. I created this for an observed lesson which was postponed, feedback welcome. Key words: daily routine, reflexive verbs, first person, third person, times of the day.

The French Revolution

(1)
I used this with a very low ability Year 8 group who have difficulty accessing the core curriculum and they enjoyed it - it is designed to be a series of 2-4 lessons on the French Revolution and can be used with storyboarding and facebook page templates to add additional tasks. The worksheet that I have uploaded with the PPT is not mine - I downloaded from TES but as I used this with the lesson plan, I am re-uploading them together.

A PowerPoint with activities to accompany the poem, Déjeuner du Matin, by Jacques Prévert. I used this with my Year 10 mixed to lower ability GCSE Yr1 group, after having studied the past tense for 3 weeks, and they enjoyed it. Key words: poetry, literature, dejeuner du matin, Jacques Prevert, passe compose, past tense.

Year 8/9 Mon ordi et mon portable / media revision

(2)
Loosely two lessons on revising activities / teenage media consumption, around the topic of 'Mon ordi et mon portable&', plus television watching habits, incorporating a quiz quiz trade game, memory race, reading comprehensions, translation, mini tests and gap fills. If you use this with your class, please let me have your feedback, it is all very helpful to me as a teacher in the early stages of my career, thank you!
