A progressive worksheet adding numbers to numberline ranging between 100 and 300, 2 forward, one counting backwards. Used for LA in a fluency lesson on numberlines.

Ancient Egyptian themed. The Nile Stores sells lots of items - prices are differentiated 3 ways. Print out and cut up lots of copies of the medium and spicy numberlines. Children choose mild, medium or spicy and take a copy of the price list and some numberline challenges. At the left, they write the price of the item, at the right they write how much money they have (stated on the challenge card). They then counting up to the number and work out their change by figuring the size of the jumps. Model this carefully. The children really enjoyed this activity and found the new method for working out change accessible.

Cut up the squares with the dienes pictures and letters in. Place these around the classroom. Give each child a recording grid. When they find a card, they must count the dienes and write the number in the box with the same letter on their grid. Answers included to help self-marking!

Problem solving and code-cracking worksheet to show mastery of counting in 50s and 100s forwards and backwards. The children really enjoyed it and it helped link maths to our topic by using Ancient Egyptian numerals!

3 worksheets to practice measuring in cm and mm. Helps children see that cm are bigger than mm. An own-design farmyard with lengths of fencing and a series of word problems (differentiated 3 ways) to encourage addition and subtraction of lengths. You can cover up the title of the farm when you photocopy it and make it your own!

Designed for Year 3 - a series of activities and a notebook looking at the progression of equivalent fractions with links to a fractions song and games. Also includes resources for an Nrich activity using a fraction wall. The different backgrounds on the notebook indicate different teaching days and the relevant worksheets are also attached. Differentiated three ways (mild, medium and spicy).

Notebook progression of skills of written multiplication revisiting partitioning skills then using grid method and long multiplication. The notebook includes a dice game which can be presented either in their books or on a sheet of blank grids (also provided). For grid method, we did lots of practical examples using dienes and whiteboards and then moved on to pre-drawn grids which they drew the dienes in the right boxes. There are two maths investigations included for extending and deepening understanding.

Display information/prompt cards for table. A 'find me' game looking at the properties of 3D shapes. The multilink models were used in a lesson to generate discussion about looking at 3D shapes from different orientations.
