Nice set up to a sequence of lessons on Norman control over England. There is a lesson plan attached should you need it. Why are historians like detectives?

This lesson should be used to introduce the subject of history. If you can acquire a bag and the actual items (or similar) this lesson can be really effective. It should allow students to see how historians work by piecing together clues to form a bigger picture. Comments are appreciated :-)
