Attendance and punctuality tracker

Attendance and punctuality tracker

(0)
An Excel spreadsheet to track attendance (and punctuality if desired) - cells have been formatted to show a gradient fill depending on the percentage figure given in the cell, providing students with a visual representation of their attendance figure - green for the gradient fill, exposing a red background as the amount gets lower - target is to keep their cells as green as possible! This has had success as a weekly update on attendance at the end of every week (with the following week in mind as students take on the challenge of improving their overall attendance figure) can easily update this with attendance percentage figures from your current system that reports attendance. This has also had success as a lesson by lesson punctuality tracker - students all start with 100% punctuality at the start of the week and they lose a percentage for every lesson they are late to (can set your own percentage amount to deduct depending on how many lessons they have in a week) - students take on the challenge of trying not to let their figure drop any more for the reminder of the week by trying to make sure they are on time for their remaining lessons of the week. All figures should be reset to 100% the following week for a fresh start. Can be shown at the start of every lesson whilst students are arriving to their lessons; just need to duplicate the sheet so you have one for attendance and one for punctuality. If you feel students would like to know which lessons they were late/to track the reason for lateness so they can see it for themselves against their punctuality percentages, a column for each lesson could be created and then you can just clear the table for the following week. T Level Transition (Level 2) Project Template - Business and Administration route

T Level Transition (Level 2) Project Template - Business and Administration route

(0)
A suggested template for setting projects to achieve the National Technical Outcomes of the T Level Transition Programme (Business and Administration route) if using route-based projects or combination of a project/projects in addition to the qualification route (if needed). The project template follows the outline for the T Level Employer Set Project (ESP) using the sample ESP provided on the City and Guilds website - providing good practice at Level 2 for this assessment at T Level although timescales should probably be more flexible for this preparation activity at Level 2. This is a template outline for a project rather than the project specifics, so you can design your own project to meet the specific national technical outcomes required, but helps to give structure to what to include where, as a starting point. If you need an idea for referring to these projects as a whole, they could be ‘T Level Prep ESP 1/2/3’ - Also the teaching for these projects prior to the project being set - to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to undertake the project - these could be referred to as ‘core skills and knowledge’ sessions or CSK for short - just an idea to help! This download contains 4 Microsoft Word documents: 1. Assessment document for students to access (based on task numbers of T Level sample project - edit as desired to reflect the components/tasks of the project you set, could use all tasks to match T Level ESP or take some out and make the project shorter. Created using a table so answer boxes will get bigger as students type so as not to limit the size of answers and rows can be inserted/removed easily as required) 2. Template for project brief and business case 3. Suggested marking grid (also includes links to the T Level ESP resources from City and Guilds for information, and the T Level Transition Programme Framework for Delivery documents (national technical outcomes) from gov.uk 4. Task timings table ^ all based on the layout of T Level sample project - 4 document templates ready to edit as desired for your own project! I hope you find this resource helpful!

T Level Transition (Level 2) Checklist - Business and Administration route

(0)
A checklist version of the National Technical Outcomes for the T Level Transition Programme (Level 2) for the Business and Administration route taken from the T Level Transition Programme Framework for Delivery 2022 to 2023. This checklist could be used to map out each aspect of the 3 outcomes against your chosen qualification units if using qualification delivery or against your chosen project(s) if using route-based projects, or a combination of both. I hope you find this resource helpful!

T Level Management and Administration Checklist

(2)
A checklist of all 7 core knowledge topic areas/knowledge outcomes as per the specification for T Level Management and Administration for students to use as a checklist and/or for teachers to use when planning teaching content: Business Context 2. People 3. Quality and Compliance 4. Finance 5. Policies and Procedures 6. Project and Change Management 7. Business Behaviours Each core knowledge topic area has been set out in a table with its sub-topic areas as per the specification, where studens can use cell shading to indicate their level of understanding of each area (red/yellow/green). Following this, each of the sub-topic areas has been set out with the specifics of what needs to be covered for each sub-topic area, again as per the specification. Students can also use these tables to further indicate their confidence in their understanding of each individual topic section once it has been covered in class. (Shown in preview) This could be updated at any time during the course and used again when revising for their exam. If desired, further columns could be easily added for use with different assessment points throughout the year. I hope you find this resource helpful!
Jenga logo game

Jenga logo game

(0)
A PowerPoint presentation with animations and linked pages - to be used alongside a Jenga set with individually numbered blocks 1 - 30 (allowing some to be blank or you could number more if desired). The presentation contains a main slide with 30 numbered boxes that each link to a separate slide with a simple layout of the number (to confirm it’s the right one) and a brand logo for students to guess. All logos are in black and white to make it slightly more difficult for students to identify. Animations have been used so the correct answer will reveal itself from behind a coloured box when clicked. There is also an arrow in the bottom right corner of each slide which will take you back to the main slide to continue the game, when clicked. As mentioned you could add more numbered Jenga pieces and brands with answers to the presentation as desired so there is one for every piece of the Jenga game (54 I believe). I’ve tried to incorporate brands that aren’t too typical of logo quizzes/too easy but should be recognisable-ish/ones that they’ve heard of somewhere before/will at least start a conversation if no one can figure it out…! Brands: Lacoste, Vans, Under Armour, Sketckers, The North Face, Slazenger, Puma, Callaway, Rockstar Games, EA Sports, Xbox, Dove, The Body Shop, Converse, Louis Vuitton, Polo Ralph Lauren, Versache, Coco Chanel, Jaguar, Gucci, Cartier, PlayStation, Audemars Piguet, Bentley, HP Hewlett-Packard, Ferrari, Nestle, Unilever, Harley Davidson. I like to think this is kind of an investment as once you’ve got a numbered Jenga set you could personalise the presentation to test for other things (literally anything) just by changing the images and answers on each slide - the main slide, animations and interlinking slides will always be ready to go! (This is the bit that took the most time!) Could be used for teambuilding activities, during induction week/welcome days etc. Suggestions for the game: students have to answer individually, no help and first answer has to be accepted as final, but perhaps allowing students to ‘phone a friend’ if they get really stuck on identifying the brand but only that person can help them. Also splitting the class into 2 teams so they can earn 1 point per correct brand to encourage extra competition within the class and to acknowledge correct answers beyond trying not to be the losing team that causes the tower to fall.
