This is a cover lesson I created due to me being off from school. It is aimed at KS3 students, either in Art & Design or Design & Technology. The theme is Camille Walala and Memphis Design, with rebranding. I know how stressful cover lessons can be to create when you are not well, so hopefully this will help! A PowerPoint I created for KS3 (year 7) Food & Nutrition. Based around the Eat Well Guide and follows on to a healthy pasta salad recipe to make in the next lesson. Also included: blank Eat Well Guide and Deli Salad Recipe plan - colour coded to help pupils relate it back to the guide. Works really well with mixed ability groups and is a colourful lesson! These are a series of design movement influences sheets created for a unit of work that I am currently producing. The unit of work is based around graphic illustration and the resources provide a series of design movements and explain how they have influenced illustration. I will be laminating these for reference in class, however they would also work well on a display board. This is a cover lesson I set for my KS3 Year 7 class who were in the Resistant Materials stage of their curriculum. A very simple lesson that requires computers for the best possible outcomes. Feel free to ask any questions.

I created this reference sheet for use in my establishment. I find it supports both myself and the learners with their understanding of the various verbs used within the assessment criteria for their qualification. The colours are coded to sit alongside the TEEP taxonomy tube map The title verbs are taken from Bloom’s Taxonomy (Anderson’s Revised) Feel free to ask any questions!

I have started to create a bank of worksheets focusing on various designers / artists / illustrators. These stem from my initial design movement worksheets (also available on my account). I use these worksheets to introduce young offenders (15-18) to a range of designers and artists. These worksheets could also be left as cover, or even set as a homework task to build learner knowledge and understanding. Each worksheet has two parts, the information sheet and the corresponding worksheet. This bundle contains: Aurelio Sanchez Elena Gumeniuk Rachel Bungey Jimmy Turrell (X4 sheets) I have tried to look at some more obscure and unusual examples to broaden knowledge for learners. Colourful and interesting literacy in Art & Design word mat I designed this to be used alongside the NCFE Graphic Design & Art & Design qualifications, however it would also work for KS3 and KS4 in mainstream schools. Contains key words, connectives, punctuation, command words, sentence starters and homophones I have also created a numeracy mat in a similar style I have laminated these and they are available for my learners in a folder in the classroom. They could also be stuck to desks or inserted into portfolios to support with annotation and theory work.

This is a mini booklet that I have created for the boys I work with in the Young Offenders Institute. It is designed to be self-directed, but can also be used as part of classroom teaching. This is perfect for learners studying Graphic Design, Art, or Design & Technology - Textiles, at KS3-KS4. This set focuses on the theme of circus. This is a booklet that I have created for the boys I work with in the Young Offenders Institute. It is designed to be self-directed, but can also be used as part of classroom teaching. This is perfect for learners studying any course at KS4 or Year 9 minimum. The focus of the booklet is gun crime in the United States. The booklet makes reference to geography skills and graphic design skills, with literacy encouraged throughout the booklet in the form of questions and answers. I decided to create this booklet after watching some of the Louis Theroux documentaries on Netflix (around gun crime in the United States). These would be a potentially great add-on to the booklet.
