Welcome to my online resources shop. My name is Nicol and I am a primary school teacher will a variety of experience in different year groups. I predominately work in Year 5 and 6. I am also a children's book author and illustrator. I am passionate about encouraging children to read more and think more deeply about what they are reading. Many of the resources I create are suitable for challenging the greater depth children in the class and deepening the learning for the class as a whole.

I created this Explorers History topic for Year 1 but it could easily be adapted for other year groups. It includes a powerpoint for each lesson with a task for the children to complete. Worksheets for lessons were they are needed has also been included. There are 6 lessons overall. Each lesson looks at a different type of explorer.
