Rational Equations - Get More Open Boxes and Win GAME

(0)
This is a fun and engaging matching game for 2 players on solving rational equations called “Collect More Open Boxes and Win!”. Students are given a total of 20 problems. Player A starts first choosing at random two equations to solve, then player B chooses another two problems to solve. Players continue in this way until all problems are finished. They search for their answers written on closed or open boxes on the boxes board. Whoever has collected more open boxes wins the game. There is one bonus box that anyone who has solved all problems correctly gains. This box can be gained by the two players at the same time. If a player has solved a problem incorrectly he/she does not get any box. Recording sheets for the players are provided. There students show their work and mark open or closed box is gained with the solution of each problem. The rational equations are various (extraneous solutions included). Please view the preview to see all the problems included. Answer key is included.
