German Prepositions Worksheet: Accusative, Dative and Genitive - Präpositionen
This worksheet allows students to review the most common German prepositions in the Accusative, Dative and Genitive. The worksheet is comprised of four sections:
Matching section plus recognizing if the preposition is accusative or dative
Fill in the blank sentences with the correct preposition
Matching genitive prepositions with the English meaning
Fill in the blank to complete sentences with a genitive preposition

This French reading is about a young man named George who is visiting cousins and friends that live in France. It talks about what he will do while in Paris and Montpellier. The activities he will undertake include: visiting the Louvre, Notre Dame, Carnival parades, restaurants and cafés.

This reading is about a family who hosts a fun summer barbecue in their yard for all of their friends and neighbours during a Saturday in July. The focus is on seeing the preterite in context. Activity idea: after reading the story and answering the questions together, students can talk in the preterite tense to describe what happened at a barbecue, picnic or party they have recently attended.
