All of my resources are priced at the minimum allowed by TES, they aren't trendy or earth shattering, they are a backbone to build the finesse onto, or, if it's period 7 on a Friday, you've got 300 reports still to write, a dozen UCAS references AND you need to set cover for a colleague who's sneezed twice and is off all week, they will serve well enough at an advanced FOFO level.

Chemical Equilibria notes for the "flipped classroom"

Cover work, prep or to supplement textbook. Includes questions and activities. Those of you that believe in the flipped classroom- this is on point. Links to Khan academy and activities based on this. Those of you who don't believe in the flipped classroom- no worries, just use this as a standard worksheet alongside excellent classroom teaching. Covers basics of equilibria, rate Kc and is designed to free up the teacher from didactic lecturing, to pupil-centred assisting with overcoming misconceptions.

Whole Lesson I wrote these notes for a pupil who was off school for a very long time, and they proved successful. I also use them for distance learning/ private tuition, but work just as well as classroom resources. Useful for Cover or a prep, or to supplement textbook. Includes Weblinks, activities, questions etc. Suitable for post 16 chemistry, specific to IB DP Will easily cover an entire lesson and I use it with flashcards activity (in the bundle) as a plenary.

Reversible reactions/ Chemical Equilibria Flipped Classroom

Developed for the IB DP but fine for post 16 (or even pre-IB as stretch and challenge) A body of notes, questions etc that can be used for cover lesson work, with weblinks for "flipped learning" Includes simple explanation of Vapour pressure etc (no Raoults law I'm afraid) and forms supplementary notes, includes questions. If Ofsted are about- includes Learning objectives and assessment statements- an easy way to demonstrate you are at least ticking their boxes. Alternatively, it is really for supporting pupils with the more challenging topics.

Entropy and Enthalpy complete pack

3 Resources
Work pack for the Enthalpy and Entropy topic. Includes weblinks, TOK, questions etc This works fine as supplementary notes, or as a lesson by lesson worksheets, as revision or prep. Includes revision pair matching/ flashcards game. If Ofsted pitch up- learning objectives are clear and explicit. If they don't- well it's good teaching anyway isn't it?
Rates of Reaction for sixth formers

Rates of Reaction for sixth formers

3 Resources
Covers everything you could want to know about Kinetics. from collision theory to calculations of the rate constant and the order of reaction through comparative study or initial rates. Good for differentiating by task when the textbook is not suited to the pupils Great for when a teacher is absent for an extended period, or for homework.

Fine for cover or for prep. Can be used to supplement textbook or pupil's own notes. Flipping the classroom seems to be the new trendy teaching method. Included are weblink and suggested reading. You could easily give this to pupils in advance of the lesson with the expectation that they will watch the web links and complete the reading, bringing any areas of difficulty into the classroom. You can then maximise your teaching effectiveness by only dealing with the difficulties. Personally, I peer/ self assess most of these resources in class, infrequently taking one in for a marking myself. Oxidation and Reduction

Oxidation and Reduction

Resource that does exactly what it says on the tin. Has questions, activities, some explanatory notes. Fine for homework, as a lesson or for cover when, for example a colleague sneezes twice and calls in "sick " for a week and some genius calls you up asking to double classes "because it's the same really" just when you've got 90 reports to write, 15 UCAS references and you're also having to give up your only non contact period to cover a colleague and you haven't got time for a coffee AND a pee (so it's one our the other), let alone write a resource.

Developed for the new IB DP curriculum, this resource may be used with sixth formers, as prep, as cover work or to supplement the textbook. Includes weblinks and questions, works just as well as a FOFO as it does as a lesson handout.
