This is an IWB resource I created to go with my 'Mr Collins&' Table Sheets&'; resources. The idea is that I split my class into the two teams 'Collins City&' and &';Raymonds Rovers' and then using an inflatable football to play a &'match&'; of football with the class as a plenary activity; students answer questions to 'shoot&' or pass to another player. Here is an idea I got from Paul Ginnis' 'Teachers Toolkit'. The codebreaker task gets students to use their algebraic knowledge to crack a code. I put the code up on the board and hand out envelopes in groups of the equations for the groups to work on. Each letter corresponds to a number. Code revealed is 'Focus, Learn, Achieve'.

A set of 3 calling cards I give to my students. They each get a set of three cards. I then put examples on the board and point to a specific length of a triangle. The class then hold up the card they think corresponds with the length.

I made these loyalty cards earlier in the year to be used with Y11 classes revising for their GCSEs. Can be easily adapted for any subject/year group where you can offer rewards for improvement, enthusiasm and performance in your lessons.

This is a PowerPoint that goes over the structure of plant and animal cells and has review questions that go over that information.

Another set of calling cards I have used with my classes. This time the cards have the 3 trigonometric ratios. I put example questions on the board and then ask the class to put up the card which has the correct ratio on it that we would use in the question.

Here is a starter I have used when teaching fractions/fractions of amounts. It involves working out the fraction of the cost of a PS3 various family members will pay towards a present. Could also be used as a plenary.
