A bit of old-fashioned grammar. The sheet presents the Present Tense paradigms of lieben, hassen and mögen, gives guidance about 'don't like' and 'don't like any' and then provides twenty sentences in English to translate into German. All the sentences relate to the topic of TV.

Each slide of the powerpoint practises a different German sound / spelling pattern. Slide 1 acts as a homepage for the activity. Students pick an image. When you click on it, it hyperlinks to a phoneme for the class to practise. (This is similar to the one I made for beginners, but the vocab is appropriate to KS4.)

Self-marking gap-fill exercise, based on a news report of the tragic death of a 16-year old from excessive alcohol consumption. Will work on PC or IW.

PPT for presentation to pupils approaching exams. Based substantially on an article, summarising extensive research conducted by Dr Tom Stafford of Sheffield University. PPT deals with (i) organisation vs cramming (ii) the value of learning from failure (iii) the need to practise (iv) processing information aids memory and (v) rest and sleep.
