Powerpoint with nine slides picturing different types of holiday and with questions to support or provoke discussion. The Word document has arguments for and against tourism which can provide further support. The first slide on the PPT acts as a homepage. Students pick a number and are hyperlinked to an image to discuss.
Presentation designed to give students the necessary language to analyze and describe the specifically cinematographic elements of the film (codes) such as lighting, camera angles, editing, use of subjective camera etc.
Materials to accompany the film 'Die Fetten Jahre Sind Vorbei'. A chronological sequence of stills on Powerpoint provides a focus for summary of the plot and / or discussion. Ideas can then be written up on the storyboard.

Year 12 starter activity. Each slide of the Powerpoint features a headline relating to the topic of Family. Students must decide in each case whether the accompanying statement is true or false.
Batman describes a trip to Paris, using both the Imperfect and Perfect Tenses. Text is followed by True / False comprehension questions in French, explanation and exemplification of the use of the two tenses, plus three writing tasks for pupils to choose from. (I've now uploaded a second version of this with a small typo corrected.)
Powerpoint containing a sequence of slides, each with a lead question and a number of supplementary questions. Designed to support speaking activities as a whole group and / or in pairs.
A number of short excerpts from reviews of the the film. Students must identify the references to the themes in each review. This is followed by a Diamond Nine card sort in which students must discuss the themes and agree which are more important and which are less important.
Powerpoint which (i) explores what the key attributes of a uniform are (ii) provides images of interesting dress codes with on-screen language support to stimulate discussion about whether certain combinations of clothing constitute a uniform, and (iii) provides images of school uniforms from around the world with on-screen language support to provoke comments. Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory describes his very precise daily routine. The text is followed by true / false questions, a find the phrase exercise, a manipulation exercise, and a reminder about the verb needing to be the second idea.
Higher Level texts about health and fitness, followed by comprehension, summarising, 'find the phrase', and adaptation exercises plus a writing task to wrap it up.

There is a scene-setting text with comprehension questions for students to do before watching the film, followed by comprehension and manipulation work and a writing task to do after watching the film.
