This is for a KS3 French class to practise using the passé composé whilst listening to a song. Students work out past participles and fill in the gaps of the song with them.
This is to be used over a number of lessons to help build up confidence and the vocabulary needed to be able to successfully answer the photocard question. I used these slides with my top set Year 8 class over the course of a term and a half, but they could also be used with Year 9s or lower ability GCSE students who need more support in their speaking.
They might need more lessons spent on slides with more support before they are ready to move onto the next bit.
The idea of these slides is to create a clear model with lots of support on answering a photocard question, with the support slowly being taken away.
Feel free to adapt them to include vocab you are exposing your students to at your school (I have used the phrases we were focussing on in my own department.) Please just leave a comment or a review if you do change anything!
I will be uploading more of these on the different themes and topics in due course.
I apologise if there are any typos or mistakes!
This photocard and activities is to help scaffold answers for students to have the support to be able to successfully answer photocard questions on food and eating out independently and fluently.
I used this resource with a KS3 class, as they practised building up to GCSE. I used the two slides as starters in different lessons as a model for answering the question more independently.
Feel free to edit this resource, but please do leave a review.
