A full lesson on converting denary to binary and vice versa.
Lesson plan: run through slides 1 - 12
Before the lesson print off the 1 0 document double sided and the dots single sided.
Ask for 4 volunteers, get them to arrange themselves smallest to the right (in value of dots) and then get them to count to 15 by flipping their pages.
Second set of 4 volunteers (Repeat the process with the 1 and 0 pages)
Students then complete the self marking spreadsheet
Exam questions to finish.

This covers the specification teaching area 2.1 and would probably take 1 lesson depending on ability.

A practical lesson based on the digitization of audio including the parameters sample rate, bit depth and bit rate.
