This resource revises information from the beginning of the year. Pupils can then prepare for a presentation answering the following questions: Répondez aux questions Comment t’appelles-tu? Quel âge as-tu? Quelle est la date de ton anniversaire? As-tu des frères ou des sœurs? Tu as les yeux de quelle couleur? Tu as les cheveux de quelle couleur? Où habites-tu? Qu’est-ce qu’il y a au rez-de-chaussée? Qu’est-ce qu’il y a au premier étage? Décris ta chambre Qu’est-ce que tu fais le soir? Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans ta ville? There are modelled examples for each question and it would be easy to alter this presentation for preparation for a written piece.

Verb Slam Dunk! Revise your key tenses

This is a particularly useful resource for consolidating tenses. I have used this successfully with GCSE groups as a starter or a revision exercise. It easily shows gaps in learning and which tenses students are struggling with. The aim is for the pupils to correctly categorise the verbs. All 35 of them. There are 5 tenses; past, present, future, immediate future and imperfect. It is an easy resource to adapt as the basketball analogy can be used too and it can be an active session whereby nets are posted at learning points around the classrooms and pupils place the verbs in the correct station. I hope this is a useful resource for you and your teaching groups.
