This resource is great to use as a starter. It is an authentic reading extract where youNG people express their opinions on the advantages/disadvantages of TikTok. Great to use as a stimulus piece or as a short translation. There is a short reading task to check vocab knowledge and a slide for pupils to offer their own opinions on the use of TikTok either orally or in written form. Bonne lecture!

This resource is a reading and translation activity adapted from an authentic article that has been taken from a popular French website. Pupils read the topical article on refugees and demonstrate understanding by completing the crossword. The clues are in English and pupils read the article to solve the puzzle. This is easy to print. It would also be easy to adapt as a comprehension exercise. After completing the exercise pupils have gained vocabulary knowledge to complete speaking or written work on the challenges faced by refugees.
