A full lesson or so focusing on weapons and World War One. A great resource for all KS3 students (may be more suitable for lower level KS4 students too) but here is being used as part of my WWI topic - I have other resources connected. Suitable for both British curriculum and the international curriculum. Attached is a great learning resource - very straight forward and easy to use. Can be used for any exam and as a fantastic supplement to whichever textbook you are using. Excellent for PGCE students / NQTs / non-specialists as all the work has been done for you. Thanks for stopping by! Raising money to teach English in Asia. Please visit my shop https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/sam2104 :) Overview of weapons with interactive game

How did William gain control of England?

A very detailed resource, covering at least 3-4 lessons focusing on William and his problems, how he overcame them and how to managed to conquer England. Starts with source evaluation Then moves onto a game where the students put themselves in the shoes of William and makes decisions that give them a score. Then looks at some reading and more sources (included and attached) Then asks students to act as an advisor and write William a letter (Structure included for less able) Finally, task 4 asks students to work in groups to produce a documentary about William’s early takeover of England, October-December 1066 (up to and including his coronation on Christmas Day) Lots of interactive resources and activities (all included in the slides/ pdf) that will keep students entertained for hours.
